Build future-proof retail with a flexible integration platform

Connect your complete retail landscape and automate the unique processes behind every channel

In modern retail, physical stores and digital channels increasingly operate as one. A retail integration platform connects Point-of-Sale (POS), ERP, e-commerce, inventory and other business systems so that sales, product, customer and fulfilment processes can work together across your retail operation.

Every transaction can trigger data flows between stores, online channels, warehouses and back-office systems. As your number of locations, channels and applications grows, keeping those flows connected and manageable becomes increasingly important.

Fluxygen seamlessly connects your complete best-of-breed retail application and data landscape, regardless of technology stack, system age or data format.

Within days, automated integrations and data flows can trim manual work and help your team manage and scale your unique retail processes across stores, channels, systems and partners.

Turn disconnected retail systems into one connected operation

Modern retail combines physical stores, e-commerce, marketplaces, warehouses and external partners. Without a flexible integration layer, every new channel, store or application can introduce another dependency, data silo or point-to-point connection. Common challenges include:

POS, ERP and e-commerce

Exchange sales, order, inventory and customer data between physical stores, online channels and back-office systems.

Inventory across locations

Keep relevant stock and availability information aligned across stores, warehouses, e-commerce and marketplaces.

Omnichannel orders

Process home delivery, click & collect, ship-from-store and returns across multiple channels and locations.

Product and pricing data

Exchange products, variants, prices and promotions between ERP, PIM, POS and digital channels.

Customer information

Connect relevant customer and transaction data across POS, CRM, loyalty and commerce systems.

Different data formats

Transform APIs, JSON, XML, CSV, EDI and other formats into data your applications can use.

Peak transaction volumes

Keep data flowing during promotions, seasonal peaks and other periods of high demand.

Changing applications

Add stores, channels, partners or systems without rebuilding the business logic behind your retail operation.

And more…

Without a flexible integration layer, every new channel, store or application can introduce another dependency, data silo or point-to-point connection.

One integration layer around your unique retail processes

Fluxygen provides a cloud-based low-code integration layer between your retail applications, data and external partners.

Instead of defining your possibilities by a fixed connector catalogue, Fluxygen connects through APIs and open protocols. If an application provides a usable interface, we want you to be able to integrate it.

Our approach is based on five principles:

Connect

Connect POS, ERP, WMS, PIM, CRM, e-commerce, marketplaces, loyalty platforms, carriers, payment services and external partners.

Automate

Automate sales transactions, orders, inventory updates, fulfilment instructions, product information, returns, invoices and other recurring retail processes.

Synchronize

Exchange relevant product, price, customer, order and inventory data between stores, online channels and back-office systems.

Validate

Map, transform, enrich and validate data according to your own business rules before it reaches the next system.

Obtain

Combine information from multiple sources and route it to the right store, application, channel, partner or process.

CASVO

Connect. Automate. Synchronize. Validate. Obtain.
That is how Fluxygen turns separate retail applications into a manageable integration landscape.

Scale your retail operation, not your integration complexity

  • Reduce manual work
Automate repetitive data processing between POS, ERP, e-commerce, warehouses and external partners.
  • Keep control of your unique processes
Manage mappings, transformations, validations and routing centrally instead of spreading business logic across applications, scripts and individual point-to-point connections.
  • Keep your best-of-breed applications
Choose the POS, ERP, WMS, PIM, CRM, commerce and fulfilment solutions that fit your retail business rather than adapting your operation to the limitations of your integration architecture.

Retail FAQ

An iPaaS can improve retail processes by connecting ERP, POS, e-commerce, PIM, WMS, CRM, marketplace and other operational systems. Product, price, inventory, customer, order and shipment information can then move automatically between applications instead of being entered or exported repeatedly. This can reduce administrative work and improve consistency across stores, online channels and back-office processes. The strongest value usually comes from integrating complete retail processes, such as product-to-channel, order-to-fulfilment and inventory-to-availability.
POS, ERP and e-commerce systems can be integrated by defining which system owns products, prices, inventory, customers and transactions and then synchronising the relevant information between them. Store transactions can flow to ERP, while prices or stock information can be distributed to stores and online channels. An integration layer can map identifiers, transform data structures and monitor failures. The exact design depends on the systems, transaction volumes, required update frequency and the retailer’s operating model.
Retailers can synchronise inventory by defining authoritative stock sources and distributing relevant updates to stores, webshops, marketplaces and other sales channels. Depending on the process, updates may be event-driven, near-real-time or scheduled. An integration platform can map warehouse, store and channel identifiers and transform inventory values for each destination. Reliable synchronisation also requires clear rules for reservations, available-to-sell quantities, returns and transfer stock. Integration improves distribution of inventory data, but the retailer must still define what each stock value means.
Retailers can use a PIM or other authoritative product source and distribute approved product information to webshops, marketplaces, stores and other customer-facing channels through an integration layer. Product names, attributes, categories, media references and other data can be mapped to the structure required by each destination. This reduces duplicate maintenance and conflicting product content. Clear ownership remains important because price, inventory and commercial conditions may originate from systems other than the PIM.
Omnichannel order processing can be automated by routing orders from stores, webshops or marketplaces into the appropriate ERP, order-management, WMS or fulfilment processes. Routing rules can determine which location or partner should fulfil an order, while status events can update customer-facing channels automatically. Integration can also separate exceptions for manual review. The architecture should define how inventory reservations, cancellations, returns and partial fulfilment are handled because these processes often differ by channel.
A single version of truth in retail starts by defining which system is authoritative for each data domain. PIM may own product content, ERP commercial information, WMS warehouse inventory and CRM selected customer data. Integration then distributes approved information to stores, webshops, marketplaces and other applications. This reduces conflicting records and manual reconciliation. A single version of truth does not necessarily mean one database; it means clear source ownership and controlled synchronisation across the retail landscape.
Retailers can improve customer-data consistency by defining which systems are authoritative for identity, contact, transaction and relationship information and synchronising only the data required by each application. Store, e-commerce and CRM systems may each capture different parts of the customer journey. Integration can validate, transform and distribute approved updates. Customer identity, duplicates, consent and access rules still require separate governance and should not be treated as problems that integration technology solves automatically.
Returns integration can connect stores, e-commerce, order management, WMS, finance and customer-service systems so that return events and statuses are shared consistently. A return initiated in one channel can trigger warehouse, refund, inventory or customer-service processes elsewhere, depending on the retailer’s rules. Integration reduces repeated administration but does not remove the need for business logic around eligibility, inspection, refunds and stock disposition. These rules should be explicit and exceptions should remain visible.
Integration can reduce manual work by automatically reusing product, price, inventory, customer, order and transaction information already present in retail systems. Employees then spend less time exporting files, copying data between systems or reconciling different versions of the same information. Validation can also identify incomplete or invalid records before they continue. The actual capacity benefit depends on transaction volumes, current processes and exception rates, so savings should be calculated from measured retail workflows rather than assumed in advance.
Retailers should evaluate an integration platform against their actual POS, ERP, e-commerce, PIM, WMS, CRM, marketplace and fulfilment landscape. Important criteria include API and file connectivity, data transformation, transaction volumes, monitoring, exception handling, security, scalability and maintainability. It is also important to assess how easily new stores, channels or applications can be added and how much control the organisation retains over future changes. The strongest platform fit supports omnichannel processes without creating unnecessary dependencies between individual systems.
