Roadmap
At Fluxygen we have an in-house team of developers constantly working on the Fluxygen application. They are implementing improvements, adding functionality, maintaining the current architecture and working towards new releases of Fluxygen.
Current developments
Recently we delivered 4.17 of Dovetail – now Fluxygen, in which we laid the basis for our further developments. We updated our revamped our backend. We are now on the latest versions of the Apache Camel framework, Java, Springboot and Assimbly.
Our scripting capabilities have also received a major update, with the Groovy 4 upgrade. We’ve introduced the setBody component, which allows you to set the body of a message using fixed values or simple expressions. We also improved support for Google OAuth, ensuring smoother authentication and better integration with Google services.

Future developments
What’s next?
We are working on a significant infrastructural project that will enable more flexible and controlled environments, including the ability to separate environments and manage individual containers with greater precision.
Additionally, we will be introducing a new data format designed to bridge the gap between our front-end and back-end. This unified approach will simplify the integration of new components, significantly reducing time-to-market.
And we plan to add a built-in code editor. Currently, code for components like the Script component must be written externally and then pasted into Fluxygen. With this update, you’ll be able to write, test, and refine your code directly within the Fluxygen platform, enhancing both speed and convenience.
Understanding our roadmap
Think of a roadmap as our compass, not a fixed itinerary. It gives you a sense of the direction we’re heading in, but like any good adventure, it can take unexpected turns.
We work in sprints using the Scrum methodology, which means our priorities can shift as we adapt to new challenges, user feedback, and market trends.
So, while this roadmap outlines our current goals, it’s always a work in progress – just like the software it guides.
