At Fluxygen, we’re excited to announce our latest updates across versions 4.16.0, 4.17.0, and 4.17.1, bringing a host of improvements designed to elevate security, usability, and performance for our users. These updates focus on key upgrades to components, tighter security measures, and UI refinements to make building and managing integrations smoother than ever.
Reinforcing security with the Inbound Https component
Our latest release, version 4.17.1, introduces the InboundHttps component. By mandating HTTPS as the sole protocol and optimising URL configurations, we’ve made URLs more user-friendly and readable by incorporating tenant and flow names. This update not only enhances security but also streamlines configuration so that integration flows are ready to go straight out of the box.
Boosting resilience with enhanced retry mechanisms
Version 4.17.1 also brings advancements to the Http component, improving its retry system to display each retry attempt in the Flow Manager’s Transactions and Logs. This transparency helps users monitor transaction performance with greater precision, ensuring resilience in workflows that encounter server errors. With this feature, we’re giving users added control over transaction health and error management.
Backend upgrades and advanced scripting capabilities
Our earlier release, version 4.17.0, made critical backend enhancements. We upgraded the platform’s integration and broker engines, Apache Camel and ActiveMQ, and updated key frameworks including Java and Spring Boot. Additionally, we introduced the Script component support for Groovy 4.0 and ECMAScript 2023, expanding customization options and adding flexibility for advanced scripting.
Streamlined workflow with expanded features and UI improvements
Across versions 4.16.0 and 4.17.0, we introduced new components and features to improve workflow management. The SetBody component allows for setting message bodies with custom expressions, and enhancements to the Script component provide placeholders to streamline testing and configuration. In Flow Manager, added transaction properties such as BodyType and ExchangePattern offer users critical insights, giving visibility into every detail of their integration flows.
Why we’re excited about these updates
Each enhancement in these releases is designed with our users in mind, providing intuitive controls and making integration flows more secure and user-friendly. As Erik Greefhorst, our CEO, puts it: “Our latest releases represent Fluxygen’s commitment to seamless, secure, and intuitive integration solutions that respond to real user needs. The latest version adds refinements that keep integration smooth and secure, from testing flows to monitoring transactions.”
Our team deserves special recognition for driving these improvements forward. Their dedication has made Fluxygen one of the first platforms to fully integrate Apache Camel 4—keeping our platform at the forefront of modern, open-source integration. This focus on the latest technology ensures Fluxygen remains cutting-edge, giving users access to the most recent advancements in integration and performance.
